The Precise Travel Destination Wedding Experience
Congratulations on your new journey for you and your fiance. A honeymoon or destination wedding is more than an ordinary vacation. It is an expression of love and commitment. You want to get it right and we understand it fully. This is our approach:
1. Finding the Right Destination
Resorts either specialize in destination weddings or they do not. Precise Travel helps you navigate your options. Some of the things we discover are:
- The destination for your wedding
- The resort at the destination
- The type of wedding (legal vs. a ceremonial wedding)
- The dates for the wedding
- Availability for the wedding ( date and time)
- The number of expected guests
- The room types for the guest
2. Initial Contact with Wedding Coordinator
Most couples want specifics about their wedding ceremony. Wedding coordinators will work out the details usually about a month in advance. Initially, the couple can request information from the coordinator as follows:
- Flower arrangements
- Reception or after dinner meal service
- Location at the resort
3. Precise Travel Makes the Arrangements for the Entire Wedding Party
Precise Travel negotiates the wedding and room contracts with the resort. The couple and/or Precise Travel then makes arrangements to contact each wedding party participant with room types and prices. The couple make their arrangements first. Then the wedding Party can make their arrangements individually with Precise Travel. When this is done, often the resort gives volume discounts to the couple based on the number in the wedding party.
The couple with this method do not have to worry about getting credit cards and payment from their guests. They can focus on each other and the wedding ceremony. Reports are regularly given to the couple about the total wedding party.
4. Final Count of Wedding Party
About 60 days before the wedding, the final count is made for the wedding. This allows the couple and the wedding coordinator to communicate and make all of the detail arrangements.
5. On-Site Wedding Coordination
When the couple arrives for the wedding at the resort, the coordinator meets personally with the couple and makes sure that all items are discussed and arrangements are exactly to the liking of the couple.
6. The Ceremony
The Ceremony with this approach is less stressful to the couple. The officiant can be ceremonial or a legal officiant based on the agreement of the couple. Most destination weddings are ceremonial. The ceremony often is followed by a reception on the beach.
7. The Honeymoon
Precise Travel can arrange a different resort for the honeymoon or the same one. Most couple need time after the ceremony to be alone and show their love to each other.
